Gruenhagen Conference Center The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is the only campus in the University of Wisconsin System to have a year-round conference center. Hosting more than 18,000 guests annually, the Gruenhagen Conference Center (GCC) has been in operation since the late 1970's. It is located in two ten-story highrises with capacity for over 1,000 guests, including 27 meeting rooms. Due to its close proximity to athletic fields, GCC hosts many youth camps during the summer. The conference center has a full-time professional conference planning staff dedicated to providing the best possible service to its patrons. Gruenhagen Conference Center is also home to the Department of Residence Life, Management Information Office, the Center for Career Development and Employability Training and hosts the anual Oshkosh Placement Exchange conference.
