Breese Hall offers a friendly, active environment
for residents to get involved. Yearly program traditions include NBC (Nelson, Breese, Clemans Halls) picnic in the spring, Trick or Treating with Big Brothers / Big Sisters, Breese Bucks incentive program, traditionally large involvement with Homecomming and Winter Carnival, and an emphasis on community service opportunities. Breese
Hall houses men on the first
two floors and women on the top two floors. A study lounge is available on every floor. Breese Hall is located
right off of Elmwood Street across the street from Fletcher Hall.
It has quick and easy access to the Reeve Union quad and Blackhawk

Breese
Hall opened in 1962 and was named for J.A. Breese, a music
director at Oshkosh from 1923 - 1960. Until 1952, he was chairman
of the Music Department. Breese was a graduate of both New
York University and Western Conservatory of Music in Chicago.
According to alumni, Breese was known as a talented, warm,
jolly and well-liked man who was committed to the University.
