Fletcher Hall houses men and women on alternating
wings on each of its four floors. Fletcher Hall offers washer and dryer facilities
in the basement and on each floot.
Fletcher Hall has a strong tradition of participation
in Homecoming, Winter Carnival, and Residence Hall Week.
Fletcher Hall features a study lounge on each floor, large recreation room
in the basement, and a full kitchen. Also located in the basement
is a seven PC computer lab open to all residents when the
front desk is open.
Fletcher Hall is located at the intersection
of Irving and Elmwood Avenue directly across from Breese Hall.
Walter H. Fletcher

Fletcher Hall is named after Walter H. Fletcher,
who was director of the Union High School Course and an instructor
of junior high school Mathematics and Elementary science from
1918-1944. He was a graduate of Dartmouth College in 1900
and also taught Latin and News Writing during his 46 years
at Oshkosh. Fletcher Hall opened in 1964.
