| Nelson is a four-story hall with
males and females living on alternate floors. The unique floor
plan provides a quaint living experience which allows people
to get to know each other very well. Residents enjoy a friendly
community committed to helping others. Their annual Halloween
tradition of "Haunted Hall" involves transforming
the basement into a haunted house that is open to the campus
and the Oshkosh community. Money raised from this event benefits
a different local charity each year.
Nelson Hall features a computer lab,
weight room, exercise room, ping pong and pool tables, a large
TV/study lounge and a kitchen in the basement. Each floor
has its own study lounge.
Nelson Hall is located conveniently across from
the Blackhawk Commons and just down the road from Reeve Memorial
Union. It has two large grassy areas located on opposite sides
of the hall. Centrally located between the residence halls,
Nelson is great place to meet a lot of people and stay active
in the residence hall community.
